Houston’s Energy Corridor may play home to the world’s largest energy companies, but there’s way more to this business district than straight business. There’s also a lineup of happening happy hours.
Note: For the purposes of this list, the Energy Corridor is defined by North/South Fry to the west, Beltway 8 to the east, I-10/Park Row to the north, and Westpark Tollway to the south.
Where to Happy Hour in the Energy Corridor
- BB’s Cafe – BB’s voodoo bar half-hour menu features half-off bites, including fan-favorites like loaded pollo bullets, fried pickle chips and queso, roast beef and gravy-smothered Tex-Cajun fries. Hit it for $1 tacos on Tuesday, steak night on Wednesday, 50-cent oysters on Friday, and Sunday Funday with $1 mimosas. - NextDoor Bar and Lounge – This local favorite offers something for everyone, morning, noon, and night. Hit it up for weekly specials (3pm to close), including Monday’s Ketel One Mules & Martinis, Taco Tuesday, Wine Down Wednesdays, Texas Thursdays, and Saturday Steak Night (4pm to 10pm), in addition to happy hour—featuring things like $8 pizzas and sizzling nachos, $4 craft beers, and $6 signature cocktails—six days a week.
