Shop handcrafted art & custom goods from area artisans at Pearland Art & Crafts on the Pavilion

Stroll aisle after aisle of abstract art, handcrafted jewelry, pottery and more, from artists around Houston, during a weekend of live music and mouthwatering food, at Pearland Art & Crafts on the Pavilion, Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, 2017.

Presented by the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau, this free two-day juried art show and shopping experience happening at Pearland Town Center next weekend offers visitors the chance to shop for unique art and handcrafted pieces created by respected local artists and artisans.

Visitors can also enjoy appetizing local bites at the Food Truck Court, sip wine in the Wine Bistro, and take in live music, while getting a jump on holiday shopping with an amazing selection of quality pieces by locally curated artists. Shop Art & Handcrafted Pieces

Hailing from Pearland and across greater Houston, area artists will be out in full force to sell and discuss their work with attendees.

Located near the intersection of Highway 288 and Broadway/FM 518, the Pearland Town Center is the perfect backdrop for this eclectic mix of artists and entertainment who have already developed a following across the region.

Just a few of the participating artists and artisans include 2 Phils Potters, Avera Boutique, Moon’s Ceramics, Celebrate Imagination, Texas Wood Creations, Bird Feeders by Carolyn, Dragonfly Arts, Pearland Arts League, and more.

Interactive Art Activities

Visitors can tap their inner artist at the Pop-Up Paint Studio presented by Pearland-based Art & Kustom Kreations.

Kids aged 5 to 10 can enjoy 30-minute “Creative Critters” paint instruction workshops with two sessions on Saturday and three on Sunday.

Adults can also try their hands at a one-hour “Life’s a Beach” session. There will be two sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday.

All sessions are free and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Kids will also have the chance to create their own take-home art projects at the Kid’s Interactive Art Station presented by Keep Pearland Beautiful and the Global Organization for Divinity which will be open both Saturday and Sunday.

Appetizing Local Fare

If you need a drink after all the shopping, a Wine Bistro featuring Dionisio Winery will be open from noon to 5pm both days offering attendees an opportunity to purchase wine by the glass.

Food trucks will swoop in to create Pearland’s own Food Truck Court throughout Saturday and Sunday, featuring mouth-watering menus from area local favorites including D’Lish Curbside Bistro, Space City Spudz, and Nom Mi Street.

Live Music

If the shopping, food, and drinks haven’t satisfied all five of your senses, fret not.

Expect plenty of live music over the weekend, with tunes from the likes of family-friendly father-son group Courageous Band and some of their friends on Saturday.

Stick around for a new, evening concert featuring the Spinsations on Saturday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

On Sunday, musical entertainment will be provided by the Grifters and Shillers, plus an acoustic set by the 4 Barrel Ramblers.
