  • Joe Ely in Concert at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck | Friday, March 4 – The beloved veteran honky-tonk singer song-writer from Amarillo, TX returns to Houston for a quiet performance at the folk-friendly Mucky Duck. With more than 20 albums under his countrified belt buckle and touring in support of his latest release, Panhandle Rambler, expect plenty of acoustic hits on the Montrose-area stage. 7pm and 9:30pm.
  • Guitar Virtuoso Joe Satriani in Concert at House of Blues | Thursday, March 10 – See Downtown Houston’s House of Blues come alive with the sounds of legendary instrumental rock guitarist Joe Satriani later this month. Having spent his early career as a guitar instructor with many of his students achieving fame, Satriani has since gone on to achieve a successful solo career. Expect a night filled with his blues-rock infused instrumentals when the 15-time Grammy nominee and teacher of Steve Vai and Metallica’s Kirk Hammett blazes through his set. 7pm.
  • Polica in Concert at Warehouse Live | Friday, March 11 – Formed originally in Minneapolis, the synth pop four-piece have been making waves and gaining traction online since their start in 2011. Fronted by vocalist Channy Leaneagh, the band are known for juxtaposing their laid-back minimalist electronic R&B with surprisingly energetic live performances. 8pm.
  • Vance Joy in Concert at Revention Music Center | Saturday, March 12 – After a whirlwind year of touring with Taylor Swift and a number one hit off his debut EP in his single “Riptide,” the Australian singer song-writer is enjoying the fruits of his indie-folk success. Known for playing both guitar and sometimes ukulele, James Keogh (better known as Vance Joy) will find himself at Revention Music Center flexing his pop chops to show you what a busy couple of years on the road sounds like. 8pm.
  • Future in Concert at Revention Music Center | Sunday, March 13 – Rapper, singer, song-writer, and producer, Future is inescapable these days. Between his latest album DS2 and his collaborative mixtape with Drake on What a Time to Be Alive, the name Future has been glued to both the pop and rap radio charts for the better part of 2015. Hear all of his auto-tune infused hip hop hits off the radio and in concert with Ty Dolla $ign and Lil Donald set to open the evening for their Purple Reign Tour. 8pm.
  • Pentagram in Concert at Warehouse Live | Friday, March 18 – The pioneers of heavy metal out of Virginia will be making their way to EaDo’s Warehouse Live for a knockout performance later this month. Formed in the 1970’s by frontman and vocalist Bobby Liebling, the band was prolific throughout the decade and became known for their doom metal sound. Hear all of their heavy hits and more from their latest effort, Curious Volume with Oakland’s Mondo Drag set to open the bill. 8pm.
  • Clay Walker in Concert at Arena Theatre | Friday, March 25 – The prolific country music superstar out of Beaumont, TX returns to Houston for an intimate concert at Arena Theater. With more than 11 albums and six number one hits behind him, expect Walker to take the audience on a tour of his Texas-born chart-topping career. Tickets start at $35.50 not including ticket fees. 9pm.
  • Daughter in Concert at Numbers Night Club | Wednesday, March 30 – The English indie-folk band from London will be crossing the pond to bring Houston all the hits from their 2013 release, If You Leave and plenty of folk goodness from their upcoming release, Not to Disappear. Formed in 2010 and fronted by Irish-Italian singer song-writer Elena Tonra, the band has received high praise and plenty of song placement in commercials with their easy to digest acoustic pop. Hear all the songs you didn’t know were theirs reverberating throughout Montrose’s historic Numbers Night Club later this month. Tickets start at $15 not including ticket fees. 7pm.
