Take in a show at The MATCH, Houston’s newest destination for performing and visual arts, located in the heart of Midtown.
The MATCH, or the Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston, is the collective hope of its organizers to provide a home for a ranging spectrum of Houston’s arts organizations while bringing Houstonians together through art in the neighborhood.
Located at 3400 Main Street, smack dab in the middle of Houston’s eclectic Mid-Main neighborhood, the long awaited The MATCH contains an art gallery and four theaters varying in size from 70 to 350 seats.
The building, more than a decade in the making, has officially opened its doors to the public and from the looks of it their calendars are filling fast with participating Houston dance, theater, and performing arts groups.
