Shop for impressive artwork and custom goods, amidst tasty food and live music, at Pearland Art & Crafts on the Pavilion, Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2015.

This fall, the free two-day event at Pearland Town Center returns at the start October with its showcase of respected artists, craftspeople and their creations.

Delicious culinary experiences and live music round out the event, as visitors indulge in both while shopping for unique art, handcrafted pieces and other artisan-made works.

Art & Handcrafted Goods

Hailing from Pearland and across greater Houston, 40-plus artists will be on hand to show and discuss their work and visit with attendees.

Some featured artists have already developed a following across the region, with popular appearances at other art shows, including the Rice Village Flea Market, First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights, multiple shows in The Woodlands and the Discovery Green Flea.

Just a few of the participating artists and craftspeople include Art & Kustom Kreations, Deb Wight Studios, Gerdes Art, Hatton Henry, Herschbach Photography, May-n-Ais, Moon’s Ceramics, Sass of Ash Designs, Stateline Designs, The Tin Armadillo and Tomboy Pretty Jewelry and many more.

Kids won’t be left out either. All will have the chance to create their very own unique work of art to bring home.

Culinary Experiences

This year, food itself will also be elevated to an art form with two distinct food culinary experiences – one for each day of the show.

On Saturday, visitors will experience Food as Art from noon until 4pm. This foodie event features Spanish pintxos tapas delicately created by the talented culinary students of Dawson High School, plus tastings from La Madeleine available for purchase. Proceeds of the sales will benefit Dawson High School Culinary Scholarships.

On Sunday, food trucks will swoop in to create Pearland’s own food truck court from 11am to 5pm, featuring mouth-watering menus from D’Lish Curbside Bistro – known for gourmet burgers and poutine-style fries inspired by Texas and the Gulf Coast – and the popular Nom Mi Street – noted for their mouthwatering Asian fusion and Vietnamese menu options plus more!

Live Music

Pearland-based bands will keep the energy lively on both days of the show, with Darren Skully of Courageous Band leading the way on Saturday.

On Sunday, eight-piece Modulation Band will span musical genres, playing a mix of blues, jazz and oldies, plus a few country and classic rock tunes for good measure.
