Tucked inside the old Jones Bar building in the Downtown Historic District surrounding Market Square Park, Clutch City Squire is a self-billed upscale dive bar. Since opening in March 2013, it’s played an integral role in the rapid revitalization of its surrounding Downtown neighborhood.
In addition to friendly staff and a hip, outgoing crowd, the bar itself has something of a timeless quality due to the exposed brick walls, classic pool table with red felt, and soft ambient lighting.
