Take in the one-night performance of New York’s Paul Taylor Dance Company, as it returns to Houston to present a roster of acclaimed dance pieces, accompanied by Houston’s own Mercury Orchestra, on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 8pm.

Paul Taylor was dubbed the “naughty boy” of dance by Martha Graham, and his dance company continues to push the edge with innovative, riveting and at times scintillating dance performances. Even in his 80s, Paul Taylor continues to be one of the most daring innovators in modern dance.

On this visit, the Paul Taylor Dance Company will perform his original choreographed works Airs, Esplanade and Sunset. Expect a wonderful night of kinetic movement, enthralling storytelling and surprising humor from one of the true legends of the form.
