See Sheryl Crow and Martina McBride live on stage leading up to Houston’s biggest Fourth of July fireworks show over the downtown skyline on Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Hosted by Mayor Anise Parker, the city’s official July fourth party takes over Eleanor Tinsley Park near Downtown with live music, games and fitness exhibitions, a beer garden, a kids’ zone, and military vehicles and representatives from all five branches of the armed forces. Expect more than 40,000 Houstonians and other guests to come together to celebrate the red, white, blue.
As the evening progresses, Sheryl Crow and Martina McBride will each take to the main stage, building up anticipation to the fireworks spectacular at the end of the night. Coolers, food, and alcohol are not permitted, but your lawn chairs are. The Downtown Houston fourth of July fireworks show will start at the end of the festival.
