March to Mardi Gras Parade, Market & Free Kids Zone Fun
Help get the party rolling in the 2025 March to Mardi Gras, La Porte’s official beginning of Mardi Gras, filled with festively decorated umbrellas and costumes that create a Second Line spectacle down Broadway.
The parade is open to everyone, umbrella walkers, pets, golf carts, jeeps, to traditional floats and more. Register now for free.
Starting at high school parking lot off Fairmont Parkway, the parade will conclude at the main event around Five Points Plaza in downtown La Porte, which will also be home to the Mardi Gras Market featuring 90+ local vendors selling one-of-a-kind finds, delicious treats, and Mardi Gras-themed goodies.
And finally, the free Kids Zone at Five Points Plaza will feature carnival rides, the popular mega alligator slide, face painting, Mardi Gras mask-making, and more.
Mardi Gras Grub & Suds
A stellar lineup of mouth-watering food trucks will help satisfy the hungriest in attendance at Mardi Gras on Main, with a forthcoming announcement on pop-up vendors.
Guests looking to unwind over drinks can find beer and wine in the adjacent beer tent managed by Rotary Club of La Porte.
