Kick up your heals, toss one back, and embrace all things Rio at the 10th annual Houston Brazilian Carnaval at Ayva Center on Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Now in its tenth year, the Houston Brazilian Carnaval is a robust evening jam-packed with Brazilian music, dancing, live drum performances, samba dancers, elaborate costumes, and more.

Entertainment

The lineup features Brazil’s Raiz Pura, with special guests Claudia Lima and Sergio Santos, performing classic sambas and spectacular Carnaval beats from across Brazil.

There will be a live drum performance, the Sambabom Dancers led by Flavia Santos Rocha,  a special appearance from the Houston Brazilian Carnaval Queen 2017 Nel Lopez, and tunes spun by DJ Joao Wurth.

All ages are welcome with an adult, but of course anyone planning to have a drink must be 21 or older.
