Zipcar, the world’s fastest growing car-sharing service, has arrived in Houston. In order to celebrate, they’ve partnered with the GreenStreet shopping and entertainment district near Discovery Green to showcase their vehicles with free entertainment and free tacos. Perfect for lunch, the tacos will come from Coreanos, rated the number one food truck in Texas by Smithsonian Magazine.
In addition to two free tacos, you’ll find mini zip-car races, prizes, music, B-Cycle program information and more. GreenStreet is one of many Zipcar stations around Houston.
“We are very excited to be named one of Zipcar’s downtown hubs,” said Courtney Ray, GreenStreet’s marketing coordinator. “Because of our convenient location to places such as the George R. Brown Convention Center, Medical Centre and Theater District, we hope this event will encourage Houstonians and visitors to rethink the way they travel and consider some of these convenient and environmentally-friendly transportation options we have here at GreenStreet.”
