It’s no secret that Houston gets pretty steamy in the summers. But the kids need a place to run amuck without worrying about sunburns and heat exhaustion. Hello, WonderWild. This place brings the rambunctiousness of outdoor activities into the air conditioning.
The littler ones have a play area designated just for them that includes play kitchens, large and soft tumble cushions, a ball pool, and lots of creative toys. This area is best for those 4 and under. The area for older kids has the ropes course, go-karts, a huge inflatable croc slide and other energy burning activities. Kids in the 5 to 11 area must wear close-toed shoes.
WonderWild is available for open play during the week and closed for private birthday parties on the weekend. If you have only preschool aged kiddos, waiting for school to start means fewer big kids in the play areas. If you have a big and a little, then this is a good spot where both kids can get exercise under the same roof. You can buy tickets for one-time play, a package deal, or become a member.
