Join WindSync for a free performance and reception at Houston Hillel on Thursday, September 18, 2014 to celebrate the start of the classical music ensemble’s forthcoming North American tour, Common Thread.

Called “revolutionary chamber musicians” by the Houston Chronicle, the stunning and exhilarating Houston-based wind quintet has gained international recognition for adventurous programming and energetic performance. WindSync is comprised of Garrett Hudson on flute, Erin Tsai on Oboe, Jack Marquardt on clarinet, Tracy Jacobson on bassoon and Anni Hochhalter on horn.

This fall, the wind quintet embarks upon Common Thread,  a 57-city tour that traverses North America and brings their dynamic and interactive program to small towns and big cities.

The evening will begin at 7:30 pm, followed by a short performance at 8:00 pm featuring the premiere of new original arrangements of works by Prokofiev and Dvorak. A reception with refreshments will follow.

WindSync will unveil a special surprise for Houston fans after the performance.
