Tip back world-class whiskies at an event featuring tastings, educational seminars, and more than 200 whisky expressions from around the globe at Whiskies of the World on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Held in the posh JW Marriott in the Galleria, Whiskies of the World is one of the largest whisky tasting events in the US featuring fascinating distilled spirits from around the globe, along with their makers and ambassadors, to give visitors an unforgettable evening.

Attendees can expect an entertaining evening of education and enjoyment of all things whisky with hundreds of whiskies to taste, whisky master classes, food and cigar pairings, and providing guests the opportunity to converse with the personalities that make up the whisky world.

Ticket price includes 12 samples, but brand ambassadors will provide additional drink tickets at their discretion. Guests must be 21 and older to attend this event.

The World’s Finest Whiskies 

Meant to satiate even the savviest connoisseur, Whiskies of the World Houston will lead whisky lovers on the ultimate journey, showcasing whiskies of different styles and origins such as Scotch, Irish, Bourbon, Canadian, Japanese, Indian and many others.

In addition to the diverse golden spirits, sought-after products of American Craft distilleries will all be presented to demonstrate the growing popularity of the innovative, local distilled spirits, and craft distilling in general.

Seeing how the city has become a major destination for food and beverage connoisseurs, the festival has kept Houstonians in mind and also tacked on a food pairing seminar to add an additional level of sensory perception for whisky lovers in the region.

Educational Seminars 

Alongside knowledgeable ambassadors pouring their whiskies, the expo will feature educational seminars conducted by master distillers, blenders, and brand representatives.

These distinguished members of the whisky community will engage guests in the process of appreciating and celebrating fine distilled spirits in an intimate setting.

Whiskies of the World is an annual opportunity for Houston attendees to discover just how complex and fascinating whiskies are with their distinct flavors and aromas, as well as with distillation and the maturation processes.

Whiskies of the World: The Ultimate Whisky Tasting
