- Polish Harvest Festival at Our Lady of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church | Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 11 | FREE – Based on the centuries-old Polish tradition of Dozynki, an end of harvest jubilee celebration, the Polish Harvest Festival combines traditional and modern elements featuring food, drink, and entertainment, plus a Chrildren’s Corner that offers an area full of exciting games, face painting, bounce houses and more. - Houston Ballet presents Peter Pan at Wortham Center | Select Dates from Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 18 – Houston Ballet presents a reinterpretation of Sir James M. Barrie’s classic tale, Peter Pan, featuring flying sequences, swashbuckling sword fights, giant puppets, and more. $25 and up. Times vary.
- Parent & Child: Tea Time on the Hogwarts Express at Central Market | Sunday, September 11 – Working as a team, you and kiddos will create some of the most enticing afternoon treats offered on the train to Hogwarts, like Pumpkin Pasties, Hagrid’s Rock Cakes and Honeydukes Chocolate-Peanut Butter Crunch Bon-Bons. Tickets for 1 parent and 2 children remain for $60 per person; ages 7 to 17 only. 11am to 1pm.

- Fall Festival Opening Weekend at Blessington Farms | Saturday, September 17 & Sunday, September 18 – Welcome the fall season in the best way at the west-of-Katy acreage known as Blessington Farms. In addition to Teacher Appreciation Weekend, the farm will open up fall activities from pumpkin patch picking to hay rides, bounce pads and much more. $24 for ages 2 and up. 9am to 4pm.
- Glow in the Park at Texas TreeVentures | Friday, September 23 – This monthly event at the canopy-scaling Woodlands adventure park offers a three-hour sunset climb that turns into a nighttime thrill with headlamps and various illuminations throughout the park for a new perspective on the tree-strung course. Ages 6 and up; adult supervision required. $60 per person. 7pm.
- 86th Annual Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo in Rosenberg | Friday, September 23 to Sunday, October 2 – Through the first Sunday in October, this 10-day fair and rodeo features carnival rides, BBQ competitions, concerts, a farmer’s market, a crawfish boil, a fishing tournament, and much more. Season passes are available for $40; single day admission is $15 at the gate; $5 for ages 6 to 11; free for ages 5 and under. Times vary.
- Raptor Fest at Houston Audubon’s Raptor and Education Center | Friday, September 30 & Saturday, October 1 – Celebrate the owl, eagles and other predatory birds that hunt with their feet at this two-day festival that offers diorama crafts, coloring pages, painting, mask-making, face painters, games and more. $10.
