  • Carlos Vives at Smart Financial Centre | Friday, November 3 – The legendary Colombian singer-songwriter and actor is bringing a special retrospective concert showcasing more than 30 years of his highlights like “La Gota Fría”, “Volví a Nacer”, “La Tierra del Olvido”, and more, plus music from his latest, Escalona Nunca Se Habia Grabado Asi. $66 and up. 8pm.
  • Tejano Legends Tribute at Rise Rooftop | Friday, November 3 – This concert honors Tejano legend Emilio Navaira, a Grammy Award–winning singer and songwriter who infused Tejano sound with rock, country and pop; and Jimmy Gonzalez, founding of Group Mazz, one of Tejano’s most lauded groups. Performed by Navaira and Gonzalez’s sons, they’ll share their fathers’ music and stories of the musicians. $20 and up. 9pm.
  • ROCO presents Unchambered: Rachel Jordan at the Historic Eldorado Ballroom | Saturday, November 4 – The acclaimed violinist offers a vibrant, intimate program honoring the memory and legacy of her father, New Orleans-based musician Kidd Jordan, an internationally acclaimed saxophonist who once played at the Ballroom in the 1970s.
