- Bill Burr at Toyota Center | Friday, September 9 – Coming off a brand new Netflix release, Live at Red Rocks, the longtime funnyman and actor descends on Downtown on his Slight Return Tour. $54.50 and up. 7pm.
- April Macie at Rudyard’s Pub | Friday, September 9 & Saturday, September 10 – A Last Comic Standing finalist, April Macie brings the laughs to the upstairs stage at Rudyard’s in Montrose. $17 and up. 7pm and 9pm both nights.
- My Name is Not Mom at Wortham Center | Friday, September 9 & Saturday, September 10 – Embark on a hilarious journey through motherhood with internet sensations Tiffany Jenkins, Meredith Masony, and Dena Blizzard. The comic trio shares their take on mothering through the sleepless nights of the toddler years, middle school craziness, and trying not to physically attack a high schooler. $40 to $60. 7:30pm both nights.
- Mo Amer at Houston Improv | Wednesday, September 14 to Friday, September 16 – Fresh off the brand new release of his Netflix series, Mo, the Houston comic spends three nights at the Improv, offering his takes on growing up as an Arab American and living in H-Town. Remaining tickets start at $50 for 2, and up. Times vary.
- Frank Castillo at Rudyard’s Pub | Friday, September 16 & Saturday, September 17 – With appearances on Comedy Central, Showtime and as podcast co-host of Peak’d and Buddies, the comedian who recently released his debut comedy album Lupe in late 2021 comes to Montrose for back-to-back nights of hilarity. $17 and up. Times vary.
- Ali Siddiq at Houston Improv | Thursday, September 22 to Sunday, September 25 – A Bring the Funny finalist and H-Town’s own, Ali Siddiq lands at the Improv in West Houston for six shows across the weekend. Tickets start at $44 for 2, and up. Times vary.
- Kevin James at Cullen Performance Hall | Friday, September 23 – The Emmy Award-winning King of Queens funnyman takes the stage at Cullen Hall on the University of Houston campus for a night of live laughs and side-splitting jokes. $40 and up. 7pm.
- Katt Williams at NRG Arena | Friday, September 23 – The comedian and actor, who most recently can be seen in his Netflix stand-up special, World War III, lands in Houston for one-night only of his biting commentary on the hot topics of today. $59 and up. 8pm.
- Steve Trevino at Cullen Performance Hall | Saturday, September 24 – The self-described “America’s Favorite Husband,” Steve Treviño arrives at UH to deliver his candid takes on the day-to-day joys of marriage and family life. $29 and up. 7pm and 9:30pm.
- Pinky Patel at Houston Improv | Sunday, September 25 – Garnering a fan base of more than 5 million followers, the PTA mom turned comic and creator is known for her witty commentary and viral videos shot from her glam cave, and now she comes to the Improv for two Sunday sets on the Hello My Priends Tour. Tickets start at $60 for 2, and up. 3pm and 7pm.
- Wanda Sykes at Bayou Music Center | Sunday, September 25 – The iconic comic most recently dropped her full-length stand-up special, Not Normal on Netflix, and now heads through the Downtown stage for a night of new material. $39 and up. 7pm.
- Dustin Nickerson at Rudyard’s Pub | Thursday, September 29 – Coming off the release of his 2021 full-length special, Overwhelmed on Amazon Prime, the comedian and author of How to be Married to Melissa performs one set at the Montrose British Pub. $15 and up. 7pm.
- Amanda Seales at Bayou Music Center | Friday, September 30 – The comedian, writer and television host comes through Downtown on the Black Outside Again Tour, bringing her latest material to the Bayou Music Center stage. $35 and up. 7:30pm.
- D.L. Hughley at Houston Improv | Friday, September 30 to Sunday, October 2 – A legendary comedian, actor, and host of his weekday radio show, D.L. Hughley stops by the Improv for five sets across three nights. Tickets are $110 for 2, and up. Times vary.
