Get gift cards and pass it on to essential workers during the 2020 holidays with ‘Tis the Season for Sweet Cash when you buy a gift card from a Sugar Land local business, while supplies last.
Update 12/14/20: The allotted supplies of matching gift card have all been distributed, marking the end of this campaign at this time.
This year has been tough on many of our favorite local restaurants, retailers, and service shops. These small businesses have faced unprecedented economic uncertainty while continuing to look for ways to forge ahead.
To help relieve a little of this pressure burdening businesses, ‘Tis the Season for Sweet Cash offers a unique opportunity for you to support your favorite Sugar Land spots, while snagging gift cards to more local businesses and helping front-line essential workers receive relief, too.
How it Works
- Buy a gift card – Stop by any beloved Sugar Land business and purchase a gift card ($20 minimum).
- Get a gift card – Send over a copy of the gift card purchase receipt using an online form and receive a “thank you” gift card from contributing businesses.
- Give a gift card – ‘Tis the Season for Sweet Cash will pay your gift card purchase forward by sending 500 gift cards to frontline workers.
Gift cards are given in increments of $20. If your original gift card value was not in an increment of $20, you will receive a gift card valued at the closest increment of $20 less than the value of your original gift card. For example, if you purchase a gift card for $35, you will receive a gift card for $20 in return, but if you purchase a gift card for $40, you will receive a gift card for $40 in return.
