- Labor Day Weekend Celebration at Pasadena Fairgrounds Arena | FREE – Pasadena’s BBQ cook-off is back again this year with bounce houses for the kids and plenty of food for the whole family. 8am to 11pm.
- Kombucha & Ginger Beer Class at Finca Tres Robles – Head to Finca Tres Robles urban farm in the Greater East End for a morning brewing class where you’ll learn how to make kombucha, ginger beer, turmeric beer, and sunchoke beer. $35. 9am to 11am.
- Kids 1st Saturday at The Breakfast Klub – Bring the whole family out to The Breakfast Klub for delicious food and tons of entertainment including face painting, arts and crafts, moonwalks and more. 10am to 2pm.
- Labor Day Weekend Day Party at Capitol Bar – Chow down on spicy crawfish, wash ‘em down with cold Bud Light and dance to beats from local DJs at Midtown’s Capitol Bar. Tickets start at $20. 2pm to 8pm.
- Exhibition Closing Reception for Fine Wind, Clear Morning at Cindy Lisica Gallery – Get one last glimpse at the group exhibition Fine Wind, Clear Morning on the final evening of the show. 3pm to 5pm.
- Jeff and Larry’s Backyard BBQ at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy are bringing their hilarious Backyard BBQ comedy and music festival to The Woodlands with special appearances from Eddie Money and The Marshall Tucker Band. Tickets start at $29.50. 6pm.
- Bach and Piazzolla Concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – Mercury puts on this free concert featuring works by Piazzolla and J.S. Bach and dramatic lighting at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 8pm.
- Certified Funny Saturdays: Labor Day Weekend at Grooves of Houston – Laugh all the way through comedian Nema Williams’s set at Grooves of Houston. $20; limited discounted $9 tickets available. 8pm.
- Advocare Texas Kickoff: LSU vs. BYU at NRG Stadium – College football is back and the BYU Cougars and taking on the LSU Tigers at NRG for the annual Advocare Texas Kickoff. Tickets start at $45, but you may find cheaper, better, or hard-to-get seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. 8:30pm.
- Dial Up: ’90s Dance Party at The Secret Group | No Cover – Dance all night to your favorite hits from the ‘90s at The Secret Group. 10pm.
- The Late Show at Prohibition Supperclub & Bar – Go back to the 1920s when the Moonlight Dolls take the stage at Prohibition Supperclub & Bar for this tastefully suggestive performance. $40; limited discounted $24 tickets available. 11:30pm.

- Houston Biker Fest 2017 at the Hobby Event Center – Calling all bikers to this festival featuring a bike competition, bikini contest, live music, food and art vendors at the Hobby Event Center. Tickets start at $15. 1pm to 10pm.

- Charity Live Art Show at Honey Art Cafe – Watch local artists create works of art right before your eyes at this event at Honey Art Cafe. If you like what you see, you can make a donation of $20 to The Pink Giraffe House and take one of the pieces home with you. 2pm to 5pm.
- 13th Anniversary Party at Poison Girl – Celebrate Poison Girl’s 13th Anniversary with a concert featuring local indie band Young Mammals, TeeVee, Body Fat and more. 4pm.
- Labor Day at Waterway Square in The Woodlands | FREE – Waterway Square is hosting a family-friendly festival with a kids’ zone, face painting, music, and a fireworks show. 4pm to 9pm.
- Houston Dash vs. Seattle Reign FC at BBVA Compass Stadium – Cheer on the Dash as they play against Seattle in this home game at BBVA Stadium. Tickets start at $24. 7pm.
- ’80s Night at Howl at the Moon – Dress in your best ‘80s garb (there will be a costume contest) and head to Howl at the Moon for this theme party. 7pm.
- Bollywood Blast: The Bollywood Bachelor at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – This musical from Rhythm India Bollywood Dance Company will take the audience on an adventure as a bachelor searches for his wife. See who will receive the final rose at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 8pm.
- Wear All White Party at 360 Midtown Bar – Dress to impress in all white and get swept up in the heavenly theme of this annual party in Midtown. Guests will be treated to live music, hookah, angel aerialists, a sax player, angels on stilts and more on two levels. Tickets start at $10. 8pm.
