Cut out early in the middle of the week in order to get schooled in the ways of mezcal at The Pastry War’s special tasting and roundtable discussion on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
The good folks over that Houston’s premier mezcaleria in Downtown are no chumps when it comes to this flavorful Mexican beverage. But they are particularly excited to showcase, and learn from, their guests Judah Kuper and Aquilino García López of Mezcal Vago and David Suro of Siembra Spirits.
The three will lead a roundtable discussion of the artistic and time-honored traditions behind their much beloved products. Mezcal aficionados and self-proclaimed students of The Pastry War will want to be there.
The event is free to attend and starts early in the afternoon at 3:30pm. Both Mezcal Vago and Siembra Spirits will be poured for half-off until the event ends at 6:30pm.
