Shout for an encore during the closing plays of Stages’ 4th Annual Sin Muros: A Latinx Theater Festival on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7, 2021.

The Montrose-area theater production house will bring the virtual edition of its annual Sin Muros: A Latinx Theater Festival to a close this weekend, allowing a last chance for the public to view the six streaming performances and participate in a final virtual Community Talkback event that covers three of the productions.

The annual theater festival celebrates the range of Latinx voices and stories that reflect the diversity of local Texas communities. This year featured the world premiere of Houston artist Candice D’Meza’s Fatherland, which explores grief and identity through the lens of a daughter who must come to terms with the death of her absent father.

Four of the performances—two full productions and two staged readings, including D’Meza’s Fatherland—are available to view on-demand through 11:59pm on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Click here to see a schedule of performances this weekend.
