Keep those kids busy during Spring Break

It’s a beautiful week for Spring Break, and there’s a lot going on all over town. Here are a few of our favorites. We’ll be adding to the list throughout the first part of the week, so let us know if we missed your favorite.

Monday

  • Baby Isaac and Friends entertain at Discovery Green – Enjoy music, dance, exercise and fun with the hottest mascot group in the world, The Baby Isaac Crew from 11:30 am – noon. From noon until 4 pm, kids can enjoy Quad Jumper Trampolines and activities led by Houston Dynamo.

Wednesday

  • Houston City Hall Farmers Market – This weekly fresh food and lunch event (11am to 1:3opm) on Bagby is the perfect stop for a bite, lesson on local food and commerce, and a peak at Houston’s City Hall.
  • Photography Camp from Houston Photography Center – Students ages 12-15 learn fundamentals of photography, camera operations and photo editing software such as Photoshop and Lightroom from 10am to 3pm.
  • Blues and Burgers at Discovery Green – Grab lunch with an outdoor lunchtime blues show with Steve Krase & The In Crowd.

Thursday

All Week

  • Destination Spring Break at the Children Museum of Houston – Enjoy games, puzzles, dancing and live music from a Caribbean steel drum band, with special events every day of the week. 
  • Wellness Week at the Health Museum – Get fit and moving with fun interactive brain and body exercises and special clinics with guest like all pro received Andre Johnson and all pro cornerback Johnathan Joseph.
  • Houston Zoo – It’s great weather to explore the Houston Zoo. Remember it will be a busy week, so get there early and check out the Zoo’s traffic and parking tips before you go.
  • Moody Gardens in Galveston – Moody Gardens is open from 10am to 8pm all week for Spring Break fun.
  • Studio Movie Grill offers Kid-Friendly Matinees – See OZ: The Great and Powerful, Escape From Planet Earth (CityCentre only) or Barbie in the Pink Shoes at special morning matinees all week at CityCentre and Copperfield locations.
  • Half off admission to Space Center Houston – Enjoy a wide variety of space-themed exhibits and other activities designed to stimulate interest and fun with math and science.
