Join other art enthusiasts every second Saturday in the month for an afternoon of art exploration.

This Saturday, March 14, 2015, marks another installment of Second Saturday Open Studios, an art crawl that takes place in the hip Washington Ave. Arts District. Bounce around between Winter, Spring, and Silver Street Studios and check out pieces from local painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, graphic designers, and drawers. With over 250 artists in residence, this area houses the largest concentration of working artists in the State of Texas.

Take a gander at Silver Street’s ongoing exhibition International Discoveries V, which showcases 12 artists from Asia, the United States, Latin America and the Middle East. At Winter, guests can get in the St. Patty’s Day spirit and “get lucky” by entering to win a small prize or a discount on an art piece. And at Spring, attendees can see artist Marius Zgirdea’s latest sculpture work Gasp for Air featuring sculpted faces.

The event is free and takes place the second Saturday of each month from 2pm to 5pm.
