- Lunar New Year Festival | FREE – This free festival has food, music, lion and dragon dances and more. 10am to 4pm.

- Lions! Dragons! Fireworks! at Viet Hoa Center – This two-day festival has lion and dragon dances… and fireworks! 11am to 7pm.
- Texas Lunar Festival at Discovery Green – This Lunar New Year Celebration is chaired by Mayor Annise Parker and is at Discovery Green! Tickets are required. 10am to 5pm.

- Chinese New Year Festival at Mandarin Chinese Language Immersion School – Wrap up the New Year holiday at the Mandarin Chinese Language Immersion School. This HISD magnet school immerses the elementary age kids in Mandarin Chinese language and culture. Visit the event for performances, food, market place and activities. 10am to 3pm.
