Create memories with your family at the largest Children’s Festival in the country, the McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8, 2018.
Now in its 30th year, the McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival is a two-day event with celebrities, food, and fun for the whole family.
The weekend-long festival features celebrity and character appearances, music, food, games, family-friendly activities, dance performances, and more. Plus proceeds will benefit Child Advocates, Inc.
Check out special events like an autograph session with Anthony Gonzalez, who voices Miguel Rivera in the 2017 Disney/Pixar film Coco, dance performances, and a meet and greet with PAW Patrol’s Chase and Marshall.
You can also visit McDonald’s Dream Discovery Zone in Sam Houston Park to sample Minute Maid Slushies and McDonald’s world famous French Fries.
Breakfast with the Stars
For the first time, guests are invited to enjoy a special Breakfast with the Stars hosted by Mayor Sylvester Turner in the Legacy Room at City Hall on Saturday, April 7 at 9am.
You’ll have a chance to take photos with characters that include members like PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Curious George, and a Power Ranger, plus Ronald McDonald and his friends Grimace, Hamburglar and Birdie.
Tickets are $50, not including a service fee, and include entry into the festival. Click here to order tickets.
The World’s Biggest PlayPlace
Gather in front of the McDonald’s Dream Discovery Stage for two days packed with music, dance and special guests.
There will be performances from the Lunch Box Dance Crew, Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico, and (of course) the Ronald McDonald Show. Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol will be on hand to pose for photos.
Anthony Gonzalez, the voice of animated character Miguel from Coco, will perform and sign autographs for fans at 1:30pm and 2:30pm both days.
Activities & Family Fun
Beyond the entertainment, there will be a bounce house, obstacle course, football toss and other games to keep the whole family entertained.
Make crafts, take a photo with Ronald McDonald, Birdie, Hamburglar and Grimace and get an up-close look at Ronald Mcdonald’s shoe car.
Stop by the photo booth to capture your memories and shared experiences from the day.
Take a break from the heat and stroll through McDonald’s “chill zone” where you can sample fruity Minute Maid Slushies while you cool off.
Learn how a potato becomes a French fry, see a larger-than-life Idaho potato, and snack on an order of hot, salty fries from the McDonald’s French Fry Truck.
