Open your eyes to an early screening of I Dream Too Much at River Oaks Theatre

Join in a special early screening of the heart-warming coming-of-age film, I Dream Too Much at River Oaks Theatre on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

Written and directed by Katie Cokinos and executive produced by Boyhood’s Richard Linklater, I Dream Too Much explores the challenges women and families experience from the perspective of three different generations.

The film which has received highly-regarded nods from the Houston Cinema Arts Festival and SXSW, amongst others, follows a young woman who finds her life unexpectedly changed when she volunteers to care for her great-aunt to appease her mother.

Following the film, there will be a conversation and Q&A with Cokinos who will give a more in-depth look introduction to the characters, storyline, set, and the stories behind the screen. Click here for more information on the screening.
