• Moon 2 Mars Festival at Space Center Houston | Daily – This week-long festival at Johnson Space Center enters its final stretch, with looks at cutting-edge space tech, immersive experiences, astronaut appearances and a weekend slate of headlining concerts with American Idol winner David Cook, Sister Hazel, Rick Springfield and Bidi Bidi Banda, the Selena tribute band. $44.95 and up; $39.95 for ages 4 to 11; free for ages 3 and under. 9am to 5pm.
• Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo at NRG Park | Daily – Happening every day of Spring Break, the Houston Rodeo offers full days of carnival fun, festival eats, livestock and petting zoos, a vendor marketplace, and a nightly main event of bronco bustin’ and headlining concerts. Through Spring Break, you can catch performers like Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley and the Sunday finale concert from Luke Bryan. NRG Park admission is $20 for ages 13 and up; $10 for ages 3 to 12; free for ages 2 and under. Carnival rides, rodeo and concert admission is an additional cost. 10am to 9pm daily.
• Spring Break at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft | Monday, March 13 to Friday, March 17 | FREE – Every day, the craft museum on Main Street will host hands-on activities, letting participants ages 3 and up explore craft and art making through different materials, tools and techniques. Activities take about a half hour and include crafts like wet-felted bracelets, jute baskets, knots, painting with natural dyes, and polymer-clay miniatures. 10am to 1pm.
• The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green | Monday, March 13 to Friday, March 17 – The Downtown park space closes out its fifth and final week of rollerskating at one of its signature experiences each year. Hit the rink and enjoy DJ tunes and light shows as you glide under the skyscrapers. $12; includes skate rental. 11am to 11pm.
• 18th Annual Pi Day at Children’s Museum Houston | Tuesday, March 14 – Celebrate the infinite, non-repeating number—3.14—as the Children’s Museum closes the street to duke it out in a messy, pie-induced frenzy at the annual Shaving Cream Pi(e) Fight. $15. 10am to 6pm.

• Spring Break: Nowruz at Asia Society Texas Center | Tuesday, March 14 to Friday, March 17 | FREE – Celebrate the Persian New Year at Asia Society by celebrating life in harmony with nature through a week of hands-on arts and craft activities and storytelling at the Museum District center for cultural and community diversity. 11am to 2pm.

• Main Street Theater presents Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus: The Musical at MATCH | Tuesday, March 14 to Saturday, March 18 – Based on the Caldecott Honor award-winning book, this musical for kiddos finds an unlikely volunteer taking over the wheel of the bus with an innovative mix of songs, silliness and feathers. $14 and up. • Savannah Bananas Exhibition Game at Constellation Field | Thursday, March 16 to Saturday, March 18 – The viral sensations on the diamond, the Savannah Bananas bring three days of exhibition baseball fun that incorporates hilarious antics, TikTok dances, and more for an unforgettable night at the ballpark. Tickets are sold out at the venue, but you may find hard-to-find tickets using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm.
• 20th Annual Seabrook Lucky Trails Celebration at Rex Meador Park | Friday, March 17 to Sunday, March 19 – The all-levels and all ages race weekend, including the “Luckiest Marathon in Texas”, returns to Seabrook for the 20th year, filled with a Kids K, 2 days of 5Ks and half marathons, a quarter-length and full marathon, plus a 4-person relay race. St. Pat’s costumes are encouraged and the after party will boast a costume contest, green beer (for the parents), great food, and more. Times vary.
• Lego Movie Film Screening at First Colony Mall | Saturday, March 18 | FREE – Catch a family-friendly outdoor screening of the 2014 film, Lego Movie, at First Colony Mall in Sugar Land. An ordinary LEGO figurine, Emmet, is mistakenly identified as “special” and must save the world from President Business with a group of strangers. 2pm.
• Celebrate Miller 100: Roaring 20’s Style at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Saturday, March 18 | FREE – The historic Hermann Park theater celebrates its centennial with this first of four experiential events held throughout the season. Swing by for a roaring ’20s-themed extravaganza with Vaudeville performers, swing dance lessons, photo opportunities, and more. Guests can also learn the Charleston, enjoy roaming entertainment clad in gorgeous 1920s attire, and watch muralist Mark De Leon at work. Costumes are encouraged. 6pm to 8pm.
• 10th Annual Houston Kosher Chili Cookoff at Beth Yeshurun Houston | Sunday, March 19 – The entire family can enjoy a day of chili and fun at the Kosher Chili Cookoff in Southwest Houston. Guests can enjoy kosher chili in the outdoors with children’s activities, music, and more. $14; $6 for ages 4 to 12; free for ages 3 and under. Noon to 4pm.
