Get your seat now for Star Wars Improv (ages 17 and up only) this Spring at ComedySportz Houston.
In 2013, ComedySportz-Houston launched their new, limited-run, adults-only comedy series “Unscripted” presenting their comedic take on the original Star Wars movie (apparently it’s now officially called Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope). Shows are presented weekly in the spring – including one on Star Wars Day, May 4, 2014 (May the 4th be with you).
With Star Warz: Unscripted, the ComedySportz improv team takes a ribald look at George Lucas’s masterpiece film – which launched an entirely new genre of moviemaking when it came out in 1977. In this live retelling, audience members get to shout out new takes on the classic movie that started it all. At the hands of the improvisation experts at ComedySportz-Houston, you’re sure to encounter shocking new comedic twists that befall your favorite kissing siblings, Han and his Wookiee, two daft lovable droids and, of course, Darth Vader and his old master Obi-Wan Kenobi (he’s your only hope).
Although most ComedySportz-Houston shows are appropriate for the whole family, this new “Unscripted” series treads into adult territory, so a 17 and older restriction is enforced. Think of this like an R-rated movie.
