Celebrate the lives of late loved ones at the expanded free, family-friendly Día de los Muertos celebration at National Museum of Funeral History on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

Expanding their annual event into a one-day celebration, the National Museum of Funeral History has a full day of free, family-friendly festivities to commemorate Día de los Muertos.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors to the Day of the Dead celebration can enjoy fun, parent-supervised activities including sugar skull decorating (while supplies last), face painting, crafts, music, and more. Come hungry and dig into offerings from local food vendors or chill out with a snow cone from Snowy of Midtown.

The Día de los Muertos celebration at National Museum of Funeral History also provides guests the opportunity to learn more about the Latin customs surrounding the events taht celebrate the lives of deceased loved ones and ancestors. Local artists will also have authentic altars on display, and you can commemorate your own loved ones by leaving them a message in the Book of the Dead.
