Bite into fresh seafood straight from the gulf at Danton’s Gulf Coast Seafood Kitchen.

Located in the eclectic Chesea Market in the Museum District, Danton’s Gulf Coast Seafood Kitchen offers up fresh and flavorful Gulf Coast fare. Named for self-taught cook and co-owner Danton Nix, the warm and unpretentious restaurant and oyster bar welcomes folks seeking out fine seafood from across Houston.

Meals are all made with fresh ingredients, including all catches which come straight from the gulf. Expect dishes such as Oysters Tasso (pictured above), Crab Danton, a blend of jumbo, lump, blue crab meat with white garlic remolaude sauce; hearty gumbos; a juicy, tender, slow-cooked pot roast layered with melted Swiss cheese served between two hunks of crusty French bread; and Gulf classics from Stuffed Flounder to Shrimp Creole.
