Be amazingly immature during week one of Spring Break at the Children’s Museum of Houston from Saturday, March 7 to Saturday, March 14, 2015.

School’s out for Spring Break, and the Children’s Museum of Houston invites you and your kiddos to fill your days with interactive activities and performances during the first week of their two-week Amazingly Immature Spring Break celebration.

Spring Break activities will go hand in hand with the national debut of the KLUTZ Amazingly Immature exhibition opening at the Children’s Museum of Houston on Saturday, March 7.

Kids can let loose in a bungee trampoline, or take a spin in a human hamster ball.

Daily activities include hands-on activities like snot making, a juggling workshop and balloon car building, giveaways for the first 100 kids each day and a different immature contest each afternoon.

At 1:30pm daily (2pm on Sunday), guests will be treated to live entertainment from juggling and magic, to a dog show and dance performance.

Wind down during a movie screening of Despicable Me or Big Hero 6 in the Brown Auditorium – playing everyday excluding Saturday, March 14.

Can’t-miss events for the first week of Spring Break include the Soda Geyser Showdown and Shaving Cream Pi(e) fight.

Soda Geyser Showdown

New to the Children’s Museum Spring Break event lineup this year is the Soda Geyser Showdown. Gather around outside from 11am to 2pm on Wednesday, March 11 to see hundreds of soda bottles erupt – spewing suds straight into the air with the help of some Mentos candies.

Shaving Cream Pi(e) Fight

Celebrate National Pi Day by throwing a pie or two during the 6th annual Shaving Cream Pi(e) Fight on Ewing Street. Taking place on Saturday, March 14 at 1:59pm – a play on the numbers of pi 3.14159 – the pie fight is just one piece of the celebration. Guests are invited to participate in arts and crafts using circles, snap a photo with Albert Einstein, make their own portable vanilla or chocolate pudding pie and enjoy a performance from Urgeworks.
