Originally started in the early ’80s and revived in 2023, the Houston Mediterranean Festival returns to St. George Orthodox Christian Church in West University, celebrating the region’s vibrant culture and flavors with a day of food, drinks, shopping, music, and more.

Festival goers can enjoy beef and chick kabobs, falafel, fries, gyro sandwiches, pizza, zaatar, and cheese bread and hummus. Plus there will be tasty desserts including baklava, anise cookies, ice cream, and baklava sundaes. Beer, wine, sodas and more will be served. 

There will be lively music from Lebanon, Greece, and Syria, a Mediterranean market, a silent auction, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon artists, and more.
