Run in the 6th Annual Big Dipper Dash along White Oak Bayou and help raise funds and awareness to battle human trafficking on Saturday, September 5, 2015.
Join United Against Human Trafficking (UAHT) for an evening run along White Oak Bayou.
The Big Dipper Dash is a 5k walk and run named in honor of one-time slaves who escaped by following the stars – and constellations like the Big Digger – to trave North to freedom.
From 4pm to 4:45pm, runners can pick up their race day packets in a designated area across from the Stude Community Center.
The race begins at 5pm, and participants will be released in waves to follow a trail that begins and ends at Stude Park. Click here to register.
Afterparty in Stude Park
Stick around for a post-race party complete with music, treats from Nothing Bundt Cakes, refreshments from Katz Coffee, a kids area, awards and door prizes.
Proceeds from this event support the outreach and educational services that UAHT provides.
