Kids of all ages are invited to play around and get active at the afternoon event that celebrates new beginnings through exploring spring holidays in Asia. Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, will be explored through activities, demonstrations, and performances. Other festivals and traditions included are Nowruz, the Persian New Year; Setsubun, the Japanese spring festival; Shogatsu, the Japanese New Year; and Songkran, the Thai New Year.

Attendees can expect egg coloring, live music, dancing, painting, and even mask making. Stick around for artful demonstrations including fruit carving and a Japanese doll display. The event is free for members of the center or $5 for individuals. Family rates are also available.
