Get a free first look at the two short plays that open Alley Theatre’s 2021 Spring Digital Season, on view through Sunday, February 7 and Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021.

As the world of theater adapts to the changing circumstances of live productions, Alley Theatre has unveiled the first two of nearly a dozen short and full length plays that are slated to hit the internet through the summer.

Its 2021 Spring Digital Season opens with two short plays by Swedish playwright August Strindberg; The Stronger and A Half Sheet of Paper.

Both performances are available to view for free, after you register for a viewing link. A public viewing period is planned for later in the year, so don’t miss your chance to catch them while you can during the first run. Set in a café on Christmas night, The Stronger reveals what happens when two rival actresses run into each other and verbally spar, working through the finer details of their lives.

Alley Theatre presents A Half Sheet of Paper

A Half Sheet of Paper, a poignant short story, pulls on memories and experiences that arise as a man stumbles across a sheet of paper he finds in his apartment as he’s moving out.
