- Theatre Under the Stars presents Oliver! at the Hobby Center | Daily – See Dickens’ classic tale Oliver Twist as a musical when TUTS’ production of Oliver! hits the stage at the Hobby Center. Tickets start at $37.75. Thursday 7:30pm; Friday 8pm; Saturday 2pm and 8pm; Sunday 2pm and 7:30pm
- Galveston Food and Wine Festival | Daily – Channel your inner wino for this four-day event packed with food and wine tastings, a 5k, special appearance from Robert Irvine and more. Tickets start at $72. Hours vary by day. Thursday 5pm to 9pm; Friday 6pm to 8pm; Saturday 9am to 5pm; Sunday 11am to 6pm.
- Disney on Ice at NRG Stadium | Daily – Disney on Ice returns with a show celebrating 100 Years of Magic with all your favorite characters from Frozen, Toy Story, Aladdin and more. Tickets start at $15, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. Showtimes vary.
- Brazoria County Crawfish Festival at MSR Houston | Friday to Sunday – Eat as much crawfish as you can during this three day festival in Pearland. Enjoy live music, carnival rides, vendors, and lots of crawfish. Tickets range between $8 to $21. Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm; Sunday 11am to 6pm.
- Japan Festival at Hermann Park | Saturday and Sunday | FREE – Hermann Park hosts Japan Fest – where guests can listen to the sounds of J-Pop and J-Rock, enjoy a tea ceremony, snack on Japanese food and watch martial arts demonstrations while shopping for traditional Japanese gifts.
- MS 150 from Houston to Austin | Saturday and Sunday – Ride from Houston to Austin during the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s annual MS 150.
- Woodland Heights Home Tour | Saturday and Sunday – Tour six historic homes that have been revitalized in the Woodland Heights neighborhood during this two-day event. 1pm to 6pm both days.

- Frolic on the Green at Discovery Green – Celebrate Girls Inc. during their annual Frolic on the Green fundraiser in Downtown Houston. Tickets start at $150 not including ticket fees. 6pm to 9pm.
- Houston Astros vs. Kansas City Royals at Minute Maid Park – Watch as the Astros finish their home-opening series against the defending World Series champs at Minute Maid Park. Tickets start at $25, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7:10pm.
- The Apostle at A.D. Players Theater – Watch the story of the Apostle Paul from the Bible’s Book of Romans in A.D. Players’ production of The Apostle. Tickets are $40; limited discounted $20 tickets available. 7:30pm.
- Improv! The Musical at Queensbury Theatre – Watch as members of ComedySportz take the stage to create a musical based off of audience suggestions. Tickets are $16; limited comped and discounted $8 tickets available. 8pm.
- Mozart and Bruckner Concert at Jones Hall – See violinist Karen Gomyo play Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 followed by a performance of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7 by the Houston Symphony. Tickets start at $19. 8pm.
- Speakeasy at Obsidian Theater – Check out a new musical – written by Houstonians Rachel Landon and Liz Tinder – that brings the prohibition era to the stage of Obsidian Theater. Tickets are $30; limited discounted $15 tickets available. 8pm.

- Helen Sung in Concert at Discovery Green | FREE – Pack a picnic and head to Discovery Green for a free concert from award winning pianist/composer Helen Sung. 6:30pm.
- Houston Symphony presents Disney in Concert at Jones Hall – Relive your favorite songs from Disney classics like Frozen, The Little Mermaid and Cinderella during this concert from the Houston Symphony. Tickets start at $15. 7:30pm.
- Big Hero 6 Movie Screening at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – Catch a free screening of Disney’s Big Hero 6, featuring Hiro, Baymax and the rest of the science-inspired team under the stars at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 8pm.

- An Evening of Spirit with James Van Praagh at the Royal Sonesta Hotel – The psychic medium, author and television personality known for his appearances on Oprah makes a live appearance in Uptown as part of the Brilliant Lecture Series. He’ll be sharing his message of life after death and communicate with the spirit world on behalf of audience members selected at random. $50; $125 VIP includes preferred seating, a meet and greet before the show and a book. 8pm.
