  • A Charlie Brown Christmas 5K at Addicks Park & Ride | Saturday, December 2 – This annual family-friendly fun run in the Energy Corridor kicks off with a Snoopy Dash for kids, followed by 10K and 5K events. Everyone will get a festive, officially licensed Peanuts finisher medal, bib and t-shirt, plus Santa will come around to visit at the post-race party. $44.95 for the 5K; $49.95 for the 10K; $36.95 for the Snoopy Dash for ages 12 and under. 8am.
  • Run for the House 5K/10K at Sam Houston Park | Saturday, December 2 – Lace up your running shoes for a cause that goes beyond the finish line at this annual USATF-certified 5K and 10K race in Downtown. All participants will receive a finisher medal, shirt and more, with contributions supporting the Ronald McDonald House and the services they provide for families in need. $45. 8am.
  • Boxing: Ryan Garcia vs. Oscar Duarte at Toyota Center | Saturday, December 2 – Downtown is the place to be for an electrifying night of boxing action as “King” Ryan Garcia, known for his lightning-fast hands and dynamic style, and the knockout artist Oscar “La Migraña” Duarte match up in a clash of titans. $55 and up. 5:05pm.
  • Houston Dynamo Conference Final Watch Party at Pitch 25 | Saturday, December 2 | No Cover – The Dynamo are one win away from a return to the MLS Cup Final, but first, they’ll have to go through LAFC. Come by the EaDo soccer bar from Brian Ching and catch all the action, along with giveaways and a team store pop-up. You can also find a watch party near you, including Little Woodrow’s Katy, Senate Ave. Brewing in Jersey Village, and the Blue Lion in the Woodlands. 8:30pm.
  • Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos at NRG Stadium | Sunday, December 3 – The red hot Houston Texans invite the Broncos to battle as they hunt for a spot in the playoffs. $80 and up, but you may find better or cheaper seats on the online ticket resale market. Noon
