  • Comedian Andrea Jin at Houston Improv | Thursday, October 5 – The stand-up comedian and writer, who gained recognition in the comedy scene after winning Comedy Album of the Year in 2021 at the Juno Awards, Andrea Jin takes the stage at the Spring Branch laugh house. $40 for 2, and up. 7:30pm.
  • Ashley Gavin at Houston Improv | Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8 – Host of the hit podcast, We’re Having Gay Sex, Ashley Gavin takes to the Spring Branch comedy club for a weekend of her latest material. $50 for 2, and up. Times vary.
  • Jimmy Carr at Cullen Performance Hall | Saturday, October 7 – The deadpan British Irish comedian is well known on both sides of the pond, having hosted Roast Battle and narrating episodes of Comedy Central’s Drunk History. He’ll head to the UH theater for a night of new material, following up his late 2021 Netflix special, His Dark Material. $35 and up. 7pm.
  • Morgan Jay at Houston Improv | Wednesday, October 11 – For one night, the Spring Branch comedy club hosts musician and comedian Morgan Jay who brings his guitar on stage for a set of laugh-out-loud songwriting. $80 for 4, and up. 7:30pm.
  • John Waters: End of the World at Wortham Center | Friday, October 13 – The legendary director and comedian brings an all-new, fast-moving, comic monologue to Downtown, about today’s despair and diseases, desires and desperations—all while carrying an insane optimism welcoming audiences into a new dawn of depravity. $29 and up. 7:30pm.
  • Craig Ferguson at Houston Improv | Friday, October 13 to Sunday, October 15 – Best known for his role on The Drew Carey Show and as host of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, the Scottish comedian spends a weekend in Spring Branch, delivering his observations on the world around him. $60 for 2, and up. Times vary.

  • Zoltan Kaszas at Houston Improv | Tuesday, October 17 – Winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition and other comic showdowns, the Hungarian-born Zoltan Kaszas takes over the Improv for a night of laughs. $50 for 2, and up. 7:30pm.
  • The Eric Andre Explosion at Bayou Music Center | Wednesday, October 18 – The comedian, actor and host of his self-titled late-night show on Adult Swim, the surreal and never predictable Eric Andre brings his nationwide tour through Downtown Houston. $54 and up. 7pm.
  • Irene Tu at Houston Improv | Wednesday, October 18 – After debuting at No. 1 on the comedy charts with her 2022 album, We’re Done Now, the acclaimed comic Irene Tu brings her perspective to the Improv stage for a midweek set. $40 for 2, and up. 7:30pm.
  • Eric D’Alessandro at Houston Improv | Thursday, October 19 – The viral video comedian is known for his celebrity impressions and parody covers, launching himself to a worldwide audience with “Mask Off Remix (Walmart Diss).” Now, you can catch him for one night–only at the Improv. $40 for 2, and up. 7:30pm.
  • Nicole Byer at House of Blues | Friday, October 20 – Welcome the raunchy and hilarious actress and comedian, Nicole Byer, known for hosting duties on Netflix’s baking show Nailed It, co-hosting alongside John Cena on ABC’s Wipeout, and her hit podcast, Why Won’t You Date Me. $30 and up. 7pm.
  • Trey Kennedy at Bayou Music Center | Friday, October 20 – Starting from social media platforms, Trey Kennedy now takes his show on the road with a stop in Downtown, offering insights on everything from moms and middle school students to Gen Z and the bible. $39 and up. 7pm.
  • The Riot Comedy Club presents Hans Kim at Rudyard’s Pub | Friday, October 20 & Saturday, October 21 – A regular on the Kill Tony podcast, the LA-based comedian stops by Rudyard’s upstairs stage for back-to-back nights. $20 and up. 7pm and 9pm.

  • Fahim Anwar at Houston Improv | Friday, October 20 & Saturday, October 21 – The LA-based comedian and writer, who came up as a member of sketch comedy group Goatface alongside Hasan Minaj, Asif Ali and Aristotle Athiras, headlines back-to-back nights at the Improv. $40 for 2, and up. Times vary.
  • Heather McMahan at Cullen Performance Hall | Saturday, October 21 – The comedian, actress, and host of the Absolutely Not podcast takes the stage at the University of Houston, just days after her Netflix stand-up debut special, Son I Never Had. $54.75 and up. 8pm.
  • Tim Shropshire at Houston Improv | Wednesday, October 25 – The Spring Branch comedy club welcomes Shropshire for a one-night set in which the clean comedian dishes on his life as a country-raised family man and his viral travels across the country digging into delicious chicken wings. $30 for 2, and up. 7:30pm.
  • The Riot Comedy Club presents Ian Lara at Rudyard’s Pub | Friday, October 27 & Saturday, October 28 – A year after dropping his HBO debut special, Romantic Comedy, the rising comic from New York City swings through the Montrose laugh house for back-to-back nights upstairs. $20 and up. Times vary.
  • Michael Blaustein at Houston Improv | Friday, October 27 to Sunday, October 29 – The comedian and co-host of the Stiff Socks podcast with fellow comic Trevor Wallace stops by the Improv for a weekend of on-stage hilarity. $70 for 2, and up. Times vary.
  • Kathleen Madigan at 713 Music Hall | Saturday, October 28 – For over twenty years, Kathleen Madigan has had crowds rolling with laughter and appeared on many late-night shows, comedy specials, and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld. She’ll take the stage at the Post Houston venue on her Boxed Wine & Tiny Banjos Tour. $34 and up. 8pm.
  • Ziwe at Hobby Center | Monday, October 30 – Just days after releasing her debut book of essays, Black Friend, the comedian, writer and actress headlines a night at Hobby Center. Emerging from social media, the talented host of her self-titled late-night variety sketch show is known for her sharp satire and salient commentary on race and politics in America. $54.50 and up. 7:30pm.
