Race to the International Dragon Boat Regatta

Thrill to the drama of the last dragon boat race of the year at the 12th Annual Gulf Coast International Dragon Boat Regatta on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2015.

UPDATE 10/24/15: Night races for Saturday, October 24 have been cancelled due to rain. Click here to check the status of further cancellations.

See amateur and experienced teams race their dragon boats in this annual fall event hosted by the Texas Dragon Boat Association. Race competitions are held for men’s, women’s mixed, breast cancer survivors and junior crews.

The regatta will take place rain or shine. In the event of thunderstorms, racing will be paused for the duration of any lightening.

The Texas Dragon Boat Association was formed to promote dragon boating tradition, increase awareness of Asian and Asian-American culture, and enhance cross-cultural understanding.
