Get lifted with eight courses of THC-infused dishes and drinks at the High Society dinner series at Musaafer on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Upscale Indian eatery Musaafer has unveiled an upcoming avant-garde dinner collaboration with Bayou City Hemp and 8th Wonder Brewery, featuring eight courses of THC-infused dishes alongside infused mocktails and cocktails.

The Galleria-area restaurant sees Executive Chef Mayank Istwal collaborating with Beverage Director Afzal Kaba for this one-of-a-kind dinner series curated for those familiar with cannabis or canna-curious.

Available in low-dose or high-dose seatings, the “High Society” series starts with a THC-infused seltzer before tasting through eight courses in the intimate dining area.

Among the eight courses, you’ll find unexpected offerings like savory hemp cookies in foie gras or mushroom varieties with cream cheese and almond sable; hemp nihari birria tacos featuring slow braised pulled goat, hemp ghee and nihari consommé; badami short ribs with hemp butter garlic naan; and bhang rabri for dessert, a combination of hemp streusel with rabdi cremoso, confit apple and chocolate hemp leaf.
