Now in its 22nd year, Theater District Open House is a free day of experiences at Houston’s major theaters with the nine major performing arts organizations playing host.

Come see what the Houston Grand Opera, Alley Theatre, Houston Ballet and more have to offer when Jones Hall, Wortham Center, Alley Theatre, Bayou Music Center and Hobby Center – all within a few blocks of each other – open their doors to the public for this kick off event.

Art-lovers of all ages are invited to experience live musical, theatrical and dance performances, tour backstage areas, participate in Q&As with performers and more, no ticket needed.

Pop-up performances, mural projects by street artists and food trucks will make walking between the theaters entertaining and fun. Be sure to catch the free Houston Symphony Concert at 4pm. Click here For the full schedule of events.
