Good thing Houston has these tasty happenings to keep locals quenched, well-fed, and sane.

This June, you can unlock a culinary passport and celebrate the local AAPI community during Asian American & Pacific Islander Restaurant Weeks; sip through vintages at the 20th Anniversary Wine & Food Week in The Woodlands; and toast to 30 years of beers at Houston’s oldest craft brewery.

  • Asian American & Pacific Islander Restaurant Weeks | Through Saturday, June 15 – The fifth annual celebration of culinary heritage of AAPI communities in Houston continues in this city-wide event. With a donation of $25 or more, folks can unlock the AAPI Restaurant Week digital passport with a QR code to access special deals from over 50 AAPI and AAPI-owned restaurants—from Be More Pacific and Blood Bros. BBQ to Fung’s Kitchen and Kau Ba. Prices and times vary.
  • 20th Anniversary Wine & Food Week in The Woodlands | Monday, June 3 to Sunday, June 9 – Presented by H-E-B, Wine & Food Week celebrates 20 years with a week of gastronomic delights and culinary events. Highlights include Stretch, Sip & Savor, and Wine Around the World Wednesday (both on Wednesday), Get Frosted at Rosé Way (Thursday), Sip, Suds & Savor (Friday), the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase (Saturday), and more. $35 and up. Times vary.
  • Table to Stage with Chef Chris Shepherd at Stages | Mondays, June 3 & June 10 Chef Chris Shepherd continues his exclusive series of intimate conversations, opening up a dialogue with world-renowned chefs and exploring the hidden artistry and inspirations that shape the foods we love. This month features food journalist, bestselling author and YouTube personality Priya Krishna (June 3) and celebrity chef and Momofuku founder David Chang (June 10). $45 and up. 7:30pm. 
  • Cocktails in Bloom at Autry Park | Tuesday, June 4 Buffalo Bayou Partnership invites folks to its annual al fresco fete with refreshing cocktails, bites from local favorites, and festive music at Autry Park. $100. 6:30pm to 9pm.
  • Landry’s Houston Chef Series at Multiple Locations | Wednesdays, June 5 to June 26 Landry’s summer dining series is back, featured on select evenings through August 7 and featuring menus inspired by the upcoming election and this year’s theme, “Presidential State Dinners”. This month’s participating restaurants include McCormick & Shmick’s (June 5), La Griglia (June 12), Grotto Ristorante (June 19) and Vic & Anthony’s (June 26). $125 and up. 7pm to 9pm.
  • 30th Anniversary Party at Saint Arnold Brewing Company | Saturday, June 8 The oldest craft brewery in Texas is celebrating 30 years of beers with an all-day birthday bash. The festival will feature several marquee musical acts from the Bayou City collaborating for the first time, including Kam Franklin, Devin the Dude, Robert Ellis and Fat Tony—plus food and beverages throughout the day, as well as commemorative glassware and throwback merch. $15 and up. Limited parking passes are available for $20. 2pm to 10pm.
  • National Rosé Day Brunch at Brasserie 19 | Saturday June 8 – Rosé lovers are invited to sip and shine in true B19 fashion, with brunch featuring themed cocktails, a sophisticated selection of rosés, features on “brunch-sized” bottles, special menu items, DJ Fxboxolmos spinning tunes, photo moments, raffles, prizes, swag, and more. Reservations are recommended. 12:30pm to 4:30pm.
  • HTX Margarita Festival at Memorial Trail Ice House | Saturday, June 8 – Patron Tequila invites margarita enthusiasts to an afternoon and evening of sipping and fun, with 10 margarita booths, street tacos, frozen drinks, food trucks, a live DJ, giveaways and more. $20 ($30 with sampling). 4pm to 10pm.
  • SSF Back to the Future Dinner at Feges BBQ | Sunday, June 9 – The Feges outpost in Spring Branch will host as some of Houston’s favorite chefs collab at the epic Back to the Future Dinner, with all proceeds going to Southern Smoke Foundation and its mission to provide the food and beverage industry with emergency relief funding and access to no-cost mental health services. Participating chefs include SSF co-founder Chris Shepherd, along with proteges Patrick Feges, Erin Smith, Lyle Bento, Ryan Lachaine, Victoria Dearmond, JD Woodward, and Chris Bednorz. In a family-style setting, the chefs will prepare a nostalgia-kissed menu with wine and beverage selections hand-picked by Matthew Pridgen. $200. 5pm to 8pm.
  • Brisket 101 at RC Ranch | Thursday, June 13 – BBQ enthusiasts can get a first-hand lesson with RC Ranch’s brisket expert as they showcase the essentials on how to properly smoke a brisket, from trimming and prepping to rubbing, wrapping, and cooking. $100, including a pre-smoked brisket sandwich to enjoy once class wraps up. 7:30pm.
  • Houston Pink Boots Society Beer Fest at Bad Astronaut Brewing | Saturday, June 15 – Rescheduled from May, this first annual fest offers a range of Pink Boots collabs with local breweries, plus live music, spray art demos, vendors, delicious food and door prizes. It celebrates the Pink Boots mission to provide scholarships, education and support for women and non-binary members in the fermentation and alcohol industries. $35; $20 for non-drinking tickets. Noon to 5pm.
  • A Wine Walk to Remember at Houston Botanic Garden | Saturday, June 15 Enjoy the beauty of nature and sip wine as you stroll through the Houston Botanic Garden at “A Wine Walk to Remember”. The evening will feature live music, live painting and a Juneteenth educational experience along with three different wines from the Pur Noire portfolio. $45. 6pm.
  • Tokyo X at NRG Center | Saturday, June 15 & Sunday, June 16 – The largest Japanese festival in Houston, the two-day Tokyo X takes a dive deep into Japanese culture with an array of attractions, including street foods prepared by local Houston chefs, night markets, a car showcase, anime, cosplay, music, live performances, and more. Participating food vendors include Dumpling Haus, Cloud 10 Creamery, Royce Chocolate, Lady M Crepe, Caobao, and Blk Mkt Birria, among others. Early bird tickets start at $40 for Saturday; $35 for Sunday. Saturday 11am to 10pm; Sunday 11am to 7pm.
  • 6th Annual Pride Brunch & Montrose Center Fundraiser at the Heights Social | Sunday, June 23 – Wrap up Pride weekend at this fundraiser brunch hosted by this chic spot in the Heights. Enjoy brunch from Chef Cameron Caine, vibes by DJ Chad Guidry, and drag performances from Sinema LaRue and Lucy Paradisco. Ages 21 and up. $60 and up. 11am to 4pm.
  • Dine With Pride at Via313 Pizzeria | Tuesday, June 25 | FREE – Closing out Pride month, this weeknight dinner serves up Detroit-style pizza and offers a chance to meet the Pride Houston 365 team and score swag and discounted event tickets. Menu prices vary. 5pm to 8pm.
