Embrace all things springtime at Urban Harvest’s free twentieth anniversary celebration, packed with family-friendly activities, at a special edition of the popular weekly Urban Harvest Farmers Market on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9am to 11am.

Houston’s largest producers-only farmers market is marking 20 years with special events for all ages, including a chef demo by James Beard Award-Winning Chef Benchawan “G” Jabthong Painter of Street to Kitchen, starter plants giveaways, free tote bags for the first 200 people to arrive, face painting and a caricature artist on site.

Urban Harvest’s weekly Saturday morning market features more than 100 local vendors and producers hailing from within 100 miles of Houston. It happens every week, rain or shine.

Festival and market-goers who use the Lone Star Card can receive a $1 for $1 match—up to $40—to buy more fresh fruits and vegetables at the Urban Harvest Farmers Market Fall Festival. Basically, anyone who spends $1 on SNAP / EBT will get $1 of fresh produce free. Learn more.
