Sign up now for the largest canoe and kayak race in Texas, the 52nd annual Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta, taking place on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

This spring, take to the waters of Houston’s signature waterway with the return of the annual Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta, the largest canoe and kayak race in the state of Texas.

Beginning at 9am, participants will dip their paddles into the bayou in West Houston, moving their way through the winding waters to the finish line at Allen’s Landing in Downtown, 15 miles away.

Whether you’re in it to win or just cruising for fun, everyone is welcome to the awards ceremony and post-race party, kicking off around 11am, providing participants with an included lunch and Saint Arnold brew.

Spectating at Allen’s Landing is free and open to everyone, including access to the post-race celebration.

The Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta happens rain or shine. If cancellation does take place due to severe water or weather conditions, all entry fees will not be refunded and will support the work of Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
