Fill your bag with fruits, vegetables and more in historic Downtown at the Market Square Park Farmers Market, held every Saturday from September 9 through November 18, 2023.

This fall, market goers have a new place to pick up fresh foods and household goods at the weekly Market Square Park Farmers Market held in the heart of historic Downtown Houston.

The family-friendly Saturday gathering connects Houstonians to local growers and makers, providing access to fresh farm goods like fruits and vegetables, as well as meat proteins and prepared foods. Shoppers can also take in live music and other entertainment, plus four-legged friends are welcome with the Market Square dog park offering some off-leash socializing.

Connecting the present with the past, this weekly fall event recalls the city’s first open-air produce markets held at the historic park in 1836 that provided fresh farm goods and fish for Houston residents across a century.
