Celebrate Buffalo Bayou Park’s 1st Birthday with an anniversary party for the ages at The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

Featuring free birthday cake, food truck bites, complimentary beer, live DJs, lawn games and more, this free-to-attend celebration marks the 1st birthday of Buffalo Bayou Park and the 30th anniversary of the Buffalo Bayou Partnership.

Join in the fun and revelry as BBP well wishes the park for another year of thoughtful programming, finding new ways to embrace our city’s unique waterfront, and of course, enhancing the quality of life for all Houstonians. Fare, Libations & More

Attendees working up an appetite can enjoy food truck fare on site from the fine folks at Colonel Eats as well as free brew from Saint Arnold Brewing Company. If the food and drinks find you stuffed, party-goers will have the chance to dance off the libations to the foot-stomping sounds of DJs from A Fistful of Soul.

If dancing isn’t your speed, kids and adults alike can show off their competitive side with a slew of lawn games while children can also enjoy playtime at the Barbara Fish Daniel Nature Play Area.
