Escape dropping winter temperatures with hand-crafted cocktails at Museum Park Café’s new weekday holiday happy hour from Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm.
Situated in Museum District, a few blocks northeast of Hermann Park, the new Museum Park Café has launched a new daily happy hour featuring $6 signature cocktails and election of dishes from James Beard-nominated Chef Justin Bayse. Select wines by the glass are $5 and Texas beers are $4 each.
Signature cocktails include 004 Proletariat (seen here) with gin, lemon, hibiscus and thyme; The Fuzz with sparkling wine, peach bitters and lavender; Big Bad Wolf, red beet-infused tequila, lime juice and ginger beer; House Sangria with a touch of brandy; Angry Ginger Gimlet with Texas vodka, lime, ginger simple and angostura; Williamsburg, withrye whiskey, dry vermouth, luxardo maraschino and aztec chocolate bitters; and Porch Swing with whiskey, jalapeno-infused tea and lemon.
The bar menu at Museum Park Café featured items from $4 to $10 each, including scallion and cheddar biscuits with salumi caramel, lamb bolognese with spaghetti alla chitarra, steak tartare with capers and mushrooms and the signature Blue Label Burger with duck fat fries.
