- 2023 Popsicle Dash 5K & 10K at Karbach Brewery – The second installment of this three-run summer series offers run lengths in 5K and 10K courses, as well as a Kids K and Family Walk. Stick around and enjoy a post-race party at the brewery, with food and drink, music and family fun. $50 for the 5K; $60 for the 10K; $25 for the Kids K. 7:30am.
- In True Form with Sheila Hopkins at the DeLuxe Theater | FREE – In collaboration with CAMH, artist Sheila Hopkins leads a community dance and movement workshop intended to explore movement and interpret contemporary material through circular breathing and qualities of jazz music. 10am to 11am.
- Pound + Pour at 11 Below Brewing Company – In Northwest Houston, take part in a workout inspired by drumming, followed by tasty craft beers from the brewery tap. $15. 11am to noon.
- Origami with Japan America Society Of Houston at Evelyn’s Park | FREE – The Bellaire park space hosts a morning art workshop where participants can learn about a specific Japanese holiday or celebration, then try their hand at mastering the artform through three designs of various difficulty. 11am to noon.
- Craft Pita Cookout at Craft Pita West University – Craft Pita’s owner and chef Rafael Nasr teams up with Burger Bodega’s Abba Dhanani, Josh Deleon of Underground Creamery, and Pastry Chef Christina Au of Blacksmith for a cookout celebration, featuring menu items like cheeseburger pitas, burger arayes, shish taouk sandwich, and labneh ice cream with olive oil cake. 11am to 2pm.
- Market on Main in the Museum District | No Cover – Find treats, treasures, tasty eats, and good people-watching at the outdoor shopping pop-up on Main showcasing unique local vendors, artisans, food trucks, and more. 11am to 6pm.
- H-Town Market at Post Houston | No Cover – Shop at a supersized market in Downtown that includes more than 200 vendors doling out vintage clothing, jewelry, candles, flowers, skincare and more. 11am to 7pm.

- The Big Slide Show at Lawndale Art Center | FREE – Artists featured in Lawndale’s annual The Big Show gather to give short presentations about their work on display. 2pm to 4pm.
- Drink Your Garden at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center – Learn how to craft three refreshing, non-alcoholic botanical beverages using ingredients you can grow yourself, like hibiscus, juniper, summer fruits and herbs. $45. 3pm to 5pm.
- Sonido! A Live Music Event at Equal Parts Brewing | FREE – The Harrisburg brewery hosts a live music event with musicians Karina Nistal & the Cosmic Cats, DJ Daro and DJ Purplpitch. Folding chairs and blankets are encouraged. 4pm to 8pm.
- 15th Annual Juried Exhibition Opening Reception at Archway Gallery | FREE – The annual juried exhibition returns to Archway on Dunlavy, offering the public a chance to see artists and gallery members in an exhibition that spans a wide range of mediums. This year’s juror is Swiss-born John Bernhard, an artist, photographer, designer and writer who settled in Houston in 1980. 5pm to 8pm.
- Road to River Revival: Pimps of Joytime at Market Square Park | FREE – The Brooklyn soul band takes the stage in Market Square Park for another night of jams as part of the district’s Road to River Revival Music Festival. Superfonicos opens the show. 6:30pm.
