Get inspired to create at The Printing Museum for Zine Fest Houston on Saturday, October 17, 2015.

Dedicated to promoting zines, which are do-it-yourself print publications produced by amateur writers and artists, Zine Fest is the grassroots attempt to bring the Houston arts community together while also introducing it to media creators in other areas.

The one-day festival, which has championed minicomics, small forms of press, and alternative media in addition to zines, has been operating since 2004 promoting the artistic growth of Houston writers and artists interested in publication.

The goal of the free event is for both attendees and participants to discover one another with the hope of inspiring camaraderie and creation.
