Swing around the corner of Fountain View Drive and Southwest Freeway, past the can’t-miss firetruck, and you’ll find the all-wood facade of Firehouse Saloon transporting visitors back to 1895.
The country music bar and honky tonk has been owned and operated by retired fireman as part of a tradition that spans three decades. In that time, they’ve seen a number of Texas music artists grace the stage of the cozy, intimate venue, including Miranda Lambert, Randy Rogers, and Pat Green.
With room for up to 600 fans, Firehouse Saloon can easily convert for different layouts, including seating for private events, tables to crowd your friends around, or clearing out the floor for standing-only shows and line dancing nights. Pool tables that sit to the side of the stage make for a great way to unwind before a show in the Saloon’s relaxed atmosphere.
While there isn’t a kitchen here, the occasional food truck satisfies concert-goers or have a go at any of the many restaurants in the surrounding Galleria area.
Easily accessible off US-59, the parking lot at Firehouse Saloon is capable of filling up quickly, making late arrivals faced with the challenge of finding a spot nearby. Arrive early and grab a couple drinks or opt for a rideshare drop-off to ensure you don’t miss a beat.
